Ready Later : Privacy Policy

Ready Later is made by Vera Apps Studio. This policy explains what happens with your information when you use the app.
The short version
Ready Later works offline. It has no account, no ads and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
What the app stores
Your freezer items, pantry items, shopping lists, reminders and settings are saved only on your device. We do not receive, see or store any of it. The app does not request access to the internet, your location, contacts, camera or photos.
Backups
When you tap "Save a backup", the app writes a file to the Downloads/ReadyLater/Backups folder on your phone. The file stays on your device unless you choose to move or share it yourself. "Restore from backup" reads a file you choose. Android's automatic cloud backup is turned off for this app.
Sharing a list
When you tap "Send list as text", your phone's share menu opens and you choose where the text goes. The app does not send anything on its own.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. The app asks for permission to show notifications only when you first turn a reminder on.
Purchases
The one-time purchase is handled by Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The app only checks with Google Play whether the purchase was made, so it can unlock all features. We do not receive your payment details.
Children
Ready Later is a general household app and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
