What is Venturing Crew 1911?

Venturing is an inclusive program through the Boy Scouts of America for males and females aged 14-20 (or 13 and completed the 8th grade). It’s operated through Venturing Crews, units of youth and advisors that meet on set schedules and plan activities and events for youth like you!

Our Venturing Crew promotes the safe handling and enjoyment of firearms. Our crew adult leaders are USAA certified Archery Instructors, NRA trained and certified Range Safety Officers, and/or Firearms Instructors in one or more disciplines. Each meeting includes time on the range where participants can learn in a supportive environment

We offer leadership training opportunities, a competitive shooting sports program, NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program opportunities, USAA Instructor Certification, NRA Instructor/RSO Certification, camping, hiking, and many other activities within Scouting and Venturing, in the United States as well as Internationally.
