The Ventura County Indian Education Consortium is a federally funded, Title VI program, providing school-based lessons to eligible Native American students in Ventura County partner school districts, to increase students' knowledge of cultural identity and awareness, while increasing their academic achievement. Enrolled students in TK-12th whose parents, grandparents, or who themselves are American Indian, Alaska Native or Native American with proof of tribal membership and a completed 506 Form on file with our Program Office are eligible.
