In a collaborative team project, I contributed significantly to building and experimenting with the PLTW VEX Robotics Platform using ROBOTC Software. My responsibilities included hands-on assembly, data collection, and analysis, culminating in the writing of the entire project report. We tested various components, such as standard and servo motors, bumper and limit switches, line followers, potentiometers, light sensors, optical shaft encoders, ultrasonic range finders, and LED lights, evaluating their performance and responsiveness to gather critical data for our conclusions.
This experience not only enhanced my teamwork and problem-solving skills but also deepened my understanding of robotics and automation. Leading the final report writing enabled me to communicate our findings effectively, ensuring the project's success. Through this work, I gained comprehensive experience with robotics platforms and embedded systems, which continues to influence my approach to future engineering challenges.
