Professional Summary
Five years of research experience in Third Generation Solar Cells (Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells, Perovskite Solar Cells, and other device fabrication). Completed PhD - September 2020. 34 papers in peer-reviewed International Journals. Have done a part of my PhD work at Norway as an exchange student for a total period of 1 year. 8 years of experience in synthesizing and characterizing different nanostructures through wet chemical methods: Solvothermal, microwave-assisted synthesis, and light-induced reduction techniques. Experience in preparing thin films through physical processes such as thermal evaporation systems and Cold Plasma Chamber. Developed in-house Solar Simulator for the testing of solar cells. Managed hands-on training sessions for bachelor's and master’s students on the fabrication of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells and Characterization Techniques. Presented research results at 2 International arena’s – Norway & Sri Lanka. Handled characterization techniques: Raman, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Photo Luminescence, and Keithley source meters for Current-voltage characteristics.

Research Experience
Chemical synthesis of semiconductor nanoparticles and nanostructures by Microwave-assisted technique, solvothermal method, UV assisted reduction methods.
Characterization techniques handled: Raman analysis, Photoluminescence, Hall effect, UV-Vis, XRD, Electrochemical workstation, Solar simulator and Keitheley 2400, 2450.
Thin film coating techniques: spray pyrolysis, doctor blading, spin coating, plasma-assisted deposition techniques.
Fabrication of dye-sensitized and perovskite solar cells in ranges from (0.5X0.5 cm2) to (5x5 cm2).
