Title: Investigation of the Haldane-Shastry model

Brief abstract: The key objective of this project is to analytically study the exactly solvable Haldane-Shastry model (spin-1/2 Heisenberg model with long-range 1/r² interactions); to characterize its symmetry structure, integrability, ground state properties, and spinon excitations; and to construct the complete excitation spectrum using extended Young tableaux. The model is numerically simulated using symmetry-based exact diagonalization techniques to investigate the structure of the energy spectrum and gain insights into its excitations.
Title: Investigation of the First Passage Time of a Brownian Particle in a Morse Potential

Brief abstract: The key objective of the project is to evaluate an approximate analytical expression for the mean first passage time of an overdamped Brownian particle confined in Morse potential and to verify the validity of the approximation using numerical simulations of the Langevin equation.
