Why Prosecco?
Although the old vine heritage of the glera (Prosecco) grape from this little hill has produced wines of Prosecco superiore origine for the past 40 years, it is only now that the extra care afforded for the garantita "G" will begin a new chapter for this wine. Vintatore Lino Segat personally oversees the production of this great wine--from the pruning of vines and tasting of the previous years harvest to the secondary fermentation and bottling in preparation for its trip to the United States. Few commercial vineyards can boast what this small family vineyard enjoys--"every vine on every day is observed by the vintatore" (che ogni vite su di tutti i giorni è osservata dal vintatore).
"Lucky is the one who has a good wine , a good book and good friends!... Naturally Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg!..."
During vendemmia each September, the owner Davide Tesini, his family, friends and workers handpick the grapes, which are registered with the Ministro Delle Risorse Agricole, Alimentari e Forestali and regulated by the statutes of the Consorzio Tutela del Vino Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore. Each bottle is individually numbered and is identified as D.O.C.G quality by the blue-colored Italian State seal.
You will not only enjoy this very limited production of "Venti22due" Prosecco Superiore Conegliano-Valdobbiadiene D.O.C.G. You will taste the care and spirit with which this wine has been made.
