VendorSnap ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile point-of-sale and inventory app for independent vendors at antique malls, flea markets, and similar venues. This policy explains what we collect and the choices you have.
By using VendorSnap, you agree to this policy.
Account information: name, email address, and a password (managed by Firebase Authentication — we never see your raw password).
Vendor profile: display name, optional booth number, optional sales tax rate, optional mall affiliation.
Payment handles: if you accept Venmo or Zelle, you give us your Venmo username and/or Zelle email or phone so customers can pay you. We do not process card payments. If you use an external card terminal (Square, Clover, SumUp, Stripe Terminal, etc.), we only record that "card" was the payment method — the actual card transaction is governed by that provider's privacy policy, not ours.
Item details: title, description, price, category, condition, and any photos you upload.
Camera frames: the live camera frames you capture for AI item detection are sent to Google Gemini for analysis (see Section 3).
Transaction records: for every completed sale we store the line items, subtotal, tax, total, payment method, and a timestamp. We do not store the customer's identity.
Device and app data: crash reports, error logs, and basic usage information collected through Firebase services to keep the app running.
Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, app opens, active-user counts, retention, session length, which screens are viewed, and feature usage. This includes coarse device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language, general region derived from IP, and a Firebase- generated install identifier). We do not use it for advertising, ad personalization is disabled, and we do not link analytics events to your name, email, or payment handles.
We do not collect customer card numbers, your precise location, your contacts, your calendar, or your microphone.
To authenticate you, run the app's features, sync your data between devices, generate QR price tags, provide AI item identification and price research, detect abuse, and send transactional emails like password resets. We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party ads.

Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not send your name, email, or payment handles to these services.
Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. Transport is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed by Firebase Authentication; we never see them. No system is perfectly secure — we will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by applicable law.
We keep your data only while your account is active. Account and profile data, item listings and their photos, and transaction records are retained so you have access to your inventory and full sales history while you use VendorSnap.
When you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account), we delete your items and their photos, your transaction records, and your profile from our systems. Item photos are also deleted whenever you delete the individual item.
If you sell through an antique mall, the mall operator keeps their own copy of the transactions they processed on your behalf.
If you voluntarily join an antique mall by entering the mall's six-character join code, the mall operator gains access to: your vendor display name, booth number, the items you list for sale, items the operator processes on your behalf at their point of sale, and the resulting transactions (line items, prices, totals, payment method, and commission share). The operator also sees your overall sales totals and item-availability counts in their dashboard.
The operator does not see your Venmo or Zelle handles, your email address, your password, or sales you process directly without the operator.
You can review the mall's commission rate at any time in Settings → Mall. To leave a mall, ask the operator to remove you. Historical transactions already processed remain in the mall's records for their tax and accounting purposes.
Aside from the mall operator scenario above, we share data only with the service providers in Section 3 and as required by valid legal process. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
You can:
Access your data by viewing it in the app.
Correct your profile and items directly in the app.
Delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your profile, items, transactions, and uploaded photos within 30 days. Some records may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days.
Withdraw camera or photo permissions in your phone's settings.

VendorSnap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact rjprovisionstx@gmail.com if you believe a child has given us data, and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
