Abel

Abel, originally a human companion to Daniel, met his end as a result of the summoning of the Void through forbidden knowledge wielded by Azrael. During a ritual involving the mysterious obelisk in the forest, Abel was chosen—or forced—by the obelisk as a human sacrifice, a necessary offering to stabilize the manifestation of the Void in the physical world.

Summary:
Abel’s death was the result of a ritual sacrifice demanded by the obelisk and monoblisks, which acted as a living conduit for the Void. While Azrael’s knowledge and summoning enabled the interaction, Abel himself was chosen by the obelisk as the necessary human offering, marking him as the first human fully consumed by the Void’s power.
