Abel
Abel, originally a human companion to Daniel, met his end as a result of the summoning of the Void through forbidden knowledge wielded by Azrael. During a ritual involving the mysterious obelisk in the forest, Abel was chosen—or forced—by the obelisk as a human sacrifice, a necessary offering to stabilize the manifestation of the Void in the physical world.
Mechanism of Death:
The obelisk, a sentient conduit of the Void, demanded a living sacrifice to anchor the summoned power.
Abel was consumed by the obelisk, his body and consciousness absorbed into the void mass within it.
Witnesses report that Abel’s form was violently distorted, stretched, and fragmented before disappearing entirely, leaving no physical trace.
His death caused the obelisk to pulse with energy, spreading void influence through the surrounding forest, accelerating corruption and animating void-created entities. The petals on the obelisk wiggle and whisk with happyness.

Abel’s death served as the first human casualty of direct interaction with the Void, demonstrating the lethal consequences of attempting to manipulate or summon it.
Daniel survived the event but was left traumatized and increasingly exposed to void phenomena. But is now missing lost in the darkforest after being transported there after the voidmass had enough power to end him there
