1. Introduction Welcome to Velo! This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Velo mobile application ("the App"). We built Velo with a privacy-first mindset: your financial data is your business, not ours.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect Velo is designed to store your financial data locally. All your transactions, text entries, logged incomes, and expenses are saved securely on your device's internal local database. We do not transmit, read, store, or sell your financial data to any cloud servers. If you delete the app or erase your local data, that financial information is permanently removed from your device.

3. Information We Collect To provide the core functionality of the App, we collect the following minimum information:

Account Information: When you sign up using an email/password or Google Sign-In, we securely store your email address, display name, and authentication tokens to manage your user session.
Crash Reports & Analytics: We may collect anonymous, non-identifying crash logs and performance data to help us fix bugs and improve the App's stability.

4. Third-Party Services The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Velo uses the following services:

Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Authentication: Used to manage user logins and track basic app stability.
Google Play Services / Apple ID: Used for app distribution and secure authentication protocols.

5. Security We value your trust in providing your basic account information, and we use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy The App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
