Dr. VELMURUGAN C

SHORT BIODATA

• Dr. Velmurugan C, received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University (India) in 2011. He received his M.E. degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Anna University (India) in 2013. Then, he received his Ph.D. in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (India) in 2019. Since 2019, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli (IIITT) (India). His R&D activities include Additive Manufacturing, Smart materials, Development of Energy storage materials and devices. He is a licensed Drone Pilot (DGCA approved) for small category. He has authored and co-authored many refereed articles most concentrating on challenges related to additive manufacturing possibilities of various metals and polymer composites.
