Welcome to Velbo ("we," "our," or "us"). We operate the Velbo mobile application (the "App"), an e-commerce and local marketplace platform designed to connect consumers with local sellers, merchants, and delivery partners across India.

To provide our marketplace, order fulfillment, and delivery services, we collect the following types of information:
Personal & Contact Information: Name, mobile phone number, email address (optional), and delivery address (including city, state, and pin code).
Order & Transaction Data: Items ordered, order history, transaction identifiers, delivery status, and tracking numbers (AWB).
Payment Information: Online payments are securely processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways (such as Razorpay / Cashfree). Velbo does not store sensitive payment details such as complete debit/credit card numbers or UPI PINs.
Device & Technical Data: Device identifiers, operating system version, app version, and standard analytics required for bug fixing and app performance.
We use the collected information strictly for legitimate business purposes:
Order Processing & Delivery: To verify orders, generate invoices/shipping labels, and enable courier partners (e.g., Delhivery, Shiprocket) to deliver parcels to your doorstep.
Account Authentication: To verify user identity via secure SMS One-Time Passwords (OTP).
Customer Support: To resolve order inquiries, dispatch issues, return requests, or technical problems.
Order Notifications: To send SMS/WhatsApp or in-app updates regarding your order progress, dispatch status, and delivery OTP verification.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share necessary data with trusted service providers:
Logistics & Courier Partners: Name, delivery address, phone number, and package details are shared with verified logistics partners (such as Shiprocket, Delhivery) solely for parcel delivery.
Payment Gateways: Secure payment transaction data is processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (Razorpay).
Cloud & Infrastructure: Cloud hosting and database services provided by Google Cloud Platform / Firebase under strict data encryption standards.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by applicable Indian law or law enforcement agencies.
All data transmitted between the Velbo app and our cloud servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / HTTPS protocols.
Strict role-based access controls prevent unauthorized access to customer records.
In compliance with Google Play Store policies and data protection regulations, users have full control over their account and data. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

Processing Timeline:
Upon receiving your request, our support team will verify your identity.
Your account profile, saved addresses, and active login sessions will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.
Note: Certain past order and invoice records may be retained in anonymized format solely for legal, tax, and accounting compliance as required under applicable laws.
Velbo is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
