About us

Velas Candles is a business based out of Independence, Kentucky. We offer a variety of candles which are made 100% from Soy Wax. My name is Alexis Wood. Me and my husband, Andrew, started making candles for fun in December of 2019 while we were both in college at Thomas More University. I am now a middle school teacher in Northern Kentucky and Andrew will graduate in May 2021 with his degree in Spanish education. We love making candles in our free time!
