Vela is a personal growth and wellbeing application designed to help users track progress, complete quests, build habits, and reflect privately.
Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information Vela does and does not collect, how data is stored, and your rights as a user.
Vela does not:
Require account creation
Collect personally identifiable information
Track your location
Collect contacts
Collect photos or media without your explicit action
Sell user data
Share personal data with advertisers
Use third-party advertising SDKs
Use analytics services that identify individual users
All progress and app data are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export your data.
This may include:
Quest progress
Habit and streak information
XP and achievement progress
User-created entries or reflections
App preferences and settings
This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to the developer.
Vela may allow users to export or import app data using JSON files.
These exports are created and controlled entirely by the user. The developer does not receive, store, or access exported files. Users are responsible for safely storing any exported backup files.
Vela may request limited device permissions only when required for core app functionality.
These may include:
Media library access — for selecting a profile photo
Storage or file access — for importing or exporting backup files
Notification access — for reminders, streaks, or habit tracking
Permissions are used solely for app functionality and not for advertising or tracking.
Vela is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because all data is stored locally on the device, no user information is ever transmitted to the developer.
Because all information is stored locally on your device, you maintain direct control over your data. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure. Users are encouraged to protect their devices with appropriate security measures.
Vela may rely on platform services provided by Google Play and the Android operating system for app distribution and functionality. These services may collect limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.

Because Vela stores data locally on your device, your data is retained until you:
Delete data within the app
Clear the app's storage from Android settings
Uninstall the application
Delete exported backup files manually
The developer does not store user data on external servers.
You may delete your data at any time by:
Using in-app reset or delete features from settings tab
Clearing app storage from Android settings
Uninstalling the application
Deleting exported backup files manually
Because the developer does not collect or store user data remotely, no separate deletion request process is required.
