Veil Light – Icon Pack Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
1. Overview
n-apps develops and operates the Veil Light – Icon Pack Android application, referred to in this Privacy Policy as “the app.”
This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored, processed, or transmitted when you use the app.
2. Information Processed by the App
The app does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other directly identifying information.
App preferences and configuration data may be stored locally on your device. This may include settings related to the app interface, wallpapers, launcher integration, and other app state.
n-apps does not operate a server that receives this locally stored information unless specifically described in this Privacy Policy.
You can delete locally stored information by clearing the app’s storage through your Android device settings or by uninstalling the app.
3. Installed Apps and Icon Requests
Veil Light may inspect applications installed on your device where necessary to identify launcher applications, determine which apps are already supported by the icon pack, and show apps for which an icon may be requested.
Information about installed applications used for this purpose may include:
App name.
Package name.
Launcher activity or component name.
App icon.
This information is processed locally on your device.
The app does not automatically upload your complete list of installed applications to n-apps.
If you use the Request Icons feature, only the applications that you explicitly select for a request are included in the request prepared by the app.
Depending on the available request method, the app may prepare an email, shareable message, or similar request containing information such as:
Selected app names.
Selected app package names.
Veil Light version.
Android version or device model, where useful for troubleshooting or identifying compatibility issues.
You can review and choose whether to send or share this information using another application on your device.
Preparing an icon request does not itself mean that the request has been transmitted to or received by n-apps.
4. Wallpapers and Network Access
Veil Light includes wallpapers that may be loaded or downloaded from online hosting services.
When your device connects to a server to retrieve a wallpaper or other remotely hosted content, the server or hosting provider may automatically receive standard technical information required to process the network request. This may include information such as your IP address, request time, and technical request information.
n-apps does not use wallpaper downloads to build advertising profiles or track users across apps or websites.
Downloaded wallpapers and related app state may also be stored locally on your device.
5. Launcher Integration
Veil Light can interact with compatible third-party Android launchers so that you can apply the icon pack.
When you choose to apply the icon pack, Android may open or communicate with the launcher installed on your device.
These launchers are separate applications operated by their respective developers. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
n-apps does not receive personal information from a launcher merely because you apply Veil Light through it.
6. Android Backup and Device Transfer
Depending on your Android settings and the app’s backup configuration, Android may back up or transfer some locally stored app information to your Google account or another device.
These backup and device-transfer features are provided and controlled by Google, Android, and your device manufacturer rather than by n-apps.
You can manage backup options through your device or Google account settings.
