App Privacy Policy:
User-Entered Data: Vehicle, maintenance, fuel, expense, document and reminder data you enter is stored locally on your device.
Scanned Data: If you use the invoice/receipt scanning feature, images and extracted text may be temporarily sent to Google Cloud Vision and OpenAI’s API to process and return structured data.
We do not create user accounts, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
To provide the core functionality of the App, including:
Logging and managing your vehicle-related data.
Processing invoices and receipts for auto-fill.
Sending local notifications/reminders that you set.
On Device: All personal data (logs, reminders, documents, images) is stored locally on your device.
Temporary Processing: Invoice/receipt images are processed securely through Google Cloud Vision and OpenAI’s API and are not permanently stored by VehiLog.
VehiLog relies on trusted third-party services:
Google Cloud Vision API – used to extract text and details from invoices and receipts.
OpenAI API – used to interpret extracted text and format structured data.
These services may temporarily process the data you provide to return results. Their use is governed by their own privacy policies:

You can choose not to use the scanning feature and instead enter data manually.
You may delete or edit your data at any time within the App.
If you uninstall the App, all data stored locally on your device will be deleted.
Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date.
