I am an animation and film production graduate from Rovaniemi, Finland with a background as an Illustrator. As cliche as it may sound, I've always been passionate about animation and I hope to make that my career one day.
I am currently living in Los Angeles. I came here to pursue my career in animation. I have just graduated from the university and am currently working as a freelance artist.
I started as an illustrator already in middle school when I got the chance to start selling my own designs printed on canvas bags at the local museum in Finland. Throughout high school and university, I have been selling pet portraits and paintings as well as designed tattoos. In 2019 I was teaching illustration and animation at Beber Camp in Wisconsin, USA.
As a filmmaker, I feel responsible to make films that can be viewed globally. Film making should not be restricted in areas, but speak to everyone no matter where they are made. This is why I decided to travel right after graduating high school to experience other cultures. I have been working in the United States and Australia and in 2018 I applied to study animation and film production at the University of Worcester in the United Kingdom. I spent my third year of university abroad: In the fall of 2020, I studied film in Thessaloniki, Greece, and spent the Spring of 2021 in Duluth, Minnesota studying 3D and design at UMD.
I enjoy working on Maya, Zbrush, and Harmony and can often be found drawing on my Ipad or in my sketchbook.
Thank you for checking out my artwork :)
