ISO/IEC 29110 Profiles

Profile สำหรับ ISO/IEC 29110 แบ่งย่อยได้เป็น 4 ระดับ ได้แก่

1. Entry 

นิยามจาก ISO/IEC 29110-2-1:2015

"Entry profile is a profile targeted at start-up VSEs (e.g., VSEs who started their operation less than three years) and/or at VSEs working on small projects (e.g., project size of less than six person-months)"

VSEs ทุกองค์กรมีสถานะเป็น Entry profile โดยอัตโนมัติอยู่แล้ว นั่นคือทุกคนมีกระบวนการหรือมาตรฐานการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ของตัวเอง แต่ยังไม่เป็นไปตามมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 29110 ดังนั้นการขอรับรองมาตรฐานการพัฒนากระบวนการซอฟต์แวร์จึงเริ่มต้นที่ Basic Profile

2. Basic

นิยามจาก SOURCE: ISO/IEC 29110-2-1:2015

"Basic profile is a profile targeted at VSEs developing a single product by a single work team"

VSEs ผู้มีกระบวนการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์อย่างน้อย 1 โครงการและมีทีมงานสามารถขอรับรอง Profile Basic ได้ ปัจจุบัน Basic profile ได้รับความนิยมทั่วโลกเพราะถือเป็นมาตรฐานทางการ ISO/IEC ขั้นแรกสุดที่องค์กรสามารถปฏิบัติได้

3. Intermediate

นิยามจาก SOURCE: ISO/IEC 29110-2-1:2015

"Intermediate profile is a profile targeted at VSEs involved in the development of more than one project in parallel with more than one work team"

Profile ระดับสามเป็น Profile สำหรับ VSEs ที่มีการดำเนินการโครงการพร้อมกันสองโครงการหรือมากกว่าขึ้นไป โดยการดำเนินการของทีมงานที่มากกว่า 1 ทีม 

4. Advanced

นิยามจาก SOURCE: ISO/IEC 29110-2-1:2015

"Advanced profile is a profile targeted at VSEs which want to sustain and grow as an independent competitive system and/or software development business"

เป็น Profile ระดับสูงสุดเพื่อ VSEs ที่ต้องการประกอบธุรกิจพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ (Software) ที่ยั่งยืน
