Research interests: Climate Finance, Climate Policy, Environmental Macroeconomic Modeling, International Finance, Development Economics

I am a PhD Candidate at the Department of Economics, Colorado State University and will be on the job market in Fall 2024. My primary fields are environmental, macro and international economics. My research focuses on intricate dynamics between state climate policy, climate finance and financial market risk perception, private participation in green infrastructure and distributional effect of climate transition. I am also a Sustainability Leadership Fellow at the School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SOGES), Colorado State University. I am excited to start and collaborate in new projects related to energy policy, climate mitigation and adaptation, sustainable development goals (SDGs)

I hold a first class degree in Economics Studies and Planning from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, and Bachelors in Business Studies (honors) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, India. An avid meditator with a love for teaching, I'm always open to new experiences, cultures and ways of thinking.
