As the executor of my father’s estate following his death in 2020, I thought I could wrap it all up with no help. Boy was I wrong. The Commonwealth of Virginia does not make settling an estate simple. After over a year of trying to do it myself, my sister found Jane Judah who specializes in helping families take care of compliance and closing out estates. Jane was amazing! To say she’s seen it all is an understatement. Every corner we turned held surprises but through her many years of experience, she had solutions that led to the final approval and finalization of Dad’s estate in 2023.
