Over the past few months, we have worked hard to achieve our goal of helping the Venice Project Center celebrate its 30th Anniversary. Click the button on the left to view all our deliverables, or view the main ones below.
The Space: Belltower Exhibit
We developed Sandbox to enable future IQP teams to create impactful graphs for publication both digitally and in print.
The Time: Highlighting the VPC's Most Important Moments
Take a trip through the history of the Venice Project Center. This timeline allows us to reminisce on the past, celebrate previous achievements, and set our aspirations for the future.
The Stones: Multimedia Presentation
Utilizing stone tablets pulled from the ground of the old church, we developed this multimedia presentation to display information about the public art of Venice.
The People
We wanted to visualize the rapid decline of local populations with the corresponding rapid rise of tourists visiting Venice. Thus, we created a graphic displaying the Venetian Population versus the average number of daily tourists visiting Venice.
Back in 1988, Fabio Carrera gathered 6 WPI students to determine the feasibility of the Venice Project Center. View their photos below.
