What is Venturing?
Venturing is an inclusive program through the Boy Scouts of America for males and females aged 14-20 (or 13 and completed the 8th grade). It’s operated through Venturing Crews, which are units of youth and advisors that meet on set schedules to plan activities and events.
Who is Venturing Crew 422?
In June 2009; Venturing Crew 422 was officially started by Dave and Debbie Blankenship, Richard and Sheila Beatty and their sons, Kurtis and Aaron. Both Kurtis and Aaron achieved their Eagle Scout status with Troop 358. The four adults, being two men and two women are what symbolized and created the idea for the crew number of 422.
