We investigate psychological and neural mechanisms of learning, memory and cognition. To build comprehensive knowledge of the underlying psychological and brain processes, we focus on three types of neural circuitries: a memory circuit including hippocampus, a learning and control circuit that is distributed over prefrontal cortex and basal ganglia and a circuit for holding and updating contextual information distributed over default mode network.
