Shankarpasha Shahi Mosque

About 500 year's old unique architecture, is located on nearly 6 acres of land. It stands on a hill. Due to its unique constructon style, it is visible from a far. The famous Sufi saint Shah Majlish Amin (ra) took the initiative to build this monument during the Sultanate period(1204-1576). He was the first to establish a mosque there. Later, during the reign of Sultan Alauddin Hussain Shah, the beautiful building of this mosque was constructed. The color of the mosque is red, and many people call it The Red Mosque.

Many also call it The Tila Mosque as it is located on the top of hill. Many people also call the mosque "Lal Tila" by combining the two names. The lenghth and width of the building are the same size. Which is 26 feet 6 inches.
