Sports

I am a keen long distance runner who has also played volleyball for Cambridge and Glasgow University teams. I came second in the 2020 Scottish Universities Half-Marathon Championships, finished the 2023 London Marathon in 2:39, and have only been getting slower since then. Quiz

I have competed in a popular Russian-language team riddle game called 'What? Where? When?' for over a decade, thrice winning the Latvian Championships and placing first in lower and middle brackets at the World Championships. In addition, I am one of the founding members and a long-time committee member of UK Quizbowl, working to develop the UK student buzzer quizzing scene.
