VBD Postdoctoral Network
Summary
Vector Biology Training Program for Sustainable Control of Vector Borne Diseases in East Africa has created a postdoctoral network of individuals working on Vectors and Vector Borne Diseases (VVBDs). The network constitutes individuals who completed their Doctoral Training 10 years or below.
The overall objective of the NIH VBD Postdocs Network is to foster collaboration, support, and professional development among postdoctoral researchers working on vector-borne diseases in Africa. Through sharing of experiences, collaboration on grants, organizing training sessions, and facilitating communication with mentors. The network aims to enhance the research capabilities and career advancement of its members, ultimately contributing to improved understanding and control of vector-borne diseases in the region.
