ARE CE Readiness Lab is published by VBC Software, a brand of Visualized by Cetkosky LLC ("VBC Software," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how the Android app handles information.
Study information stored on your device
The app stores quiz answers, saved sessions, scores, progress, preferences, generated-question fingerprints, purchase-entitlement status, and user-created question reports locally on your device. The current build does not automatically send this study information to VBC Software.
Google Play purchases
Google Play processes product availability, purchases, test purchases, and purchase restoration. VBC Software does not receive your full payment-card number. Google may process Google-account, transaction, device, security, and diagnostic information under Google's terms and privacy policies. The app stores a local entitlement after Google Play reports an eligible completed or restored purchase.
A stored entitlement can work offline on that device. Clearing app data, uninstalling, or moving to another device may require an internet connection and the Restore Purchase function. The current client-only implementation cannot independently detect every refund, chargeback, or revocation while a device is offline.
Accounts, advertising, and analytics
The current build does not create a VBC Software account and does not include VBC-operated advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party crash-reporting services.
Information you choose to send
If you email support, feedback, screenshots, or a question report, we receive the information you choose to include, along with normal email metadata. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, signing keys, or copyrighted source documents.
How information is used and shared
Voluntary support information is used to answer requests, diagnose defects, improve the app, prevent abuse, maintain necessary business records, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers that operate email or business systems, and we may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, users, or the service.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information handled by this build. Study data remains in the app's local storage unless you choose to send it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Android Auto Backup is disabled for this build, so app data is not intentionally copied into a device backup by the app. Because the current build has no VBC Software account or cloud study-data store, there is no remote study profile to delete. Voluntary support communications are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, defect resolution, security, business records, or legal obligations. You may request deletion of eligible support information by using the contact below.
Children
The app is intended for adult and professional architecture-licensure candidates and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, law, or service providers change. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
