About the Conference: The conference on the theme “Viksit Bharat@2047: An Integrative Approach” is proposed to create a comprehensive platform for deliberation on India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by the centenary year of Independence. The conference aims to discuss strategies for self-reliance and economic empowerment through innovation, entrepreneurship, local manufacturing, MSME development and start-ups, while simultaneously promoting sustainable development practices that balance economic growth with environmental responsibility. Special emphasis will be laid on sustainable economic growth, green development, climate resilience, circular economy and renewable energy. The conference will also highlight the transformative role of youth, technology and education in building a knowledge-driven and globally competitive India, with engrossed discussions on digital transformation, AI, smart technologies, e-governance and cyber security. Other key areas of the conference include human capital development in the light of NEP 2020, skill enhancement and youth entrepreneurship, inclusive growth ensuring social equity and rural-urban parity, smart urbanisation and modern infrastructure. Apart from this, few other themes of the conference are agricultural transformation and rural prosperity, strengthening public health systems including Ayushman Bharat and digital health, as well as innovation in research, science and space technology. Overall, the conference seeks to integrate the themes of inclusive growth, sustainable development, innovation and good governance to contribute meaningfully to the national vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

The proposed conference will be conducted in a bilingual format, in order to ensure a wider participation and inclusivity. Abstracts for paper presentations will be accepted in both Assamese and English, encouraging scholars and participants to contribute in the language most convenient to them.

Tracks Covered: The conference aims to cover the topics based on inclusive growth, sustainable development, innovation, good governance, etc.

About the College: Bhawanipur Anchalik College, situated in the serene landscape of Assam, stands as a beacon of educational excellence in the region. Founded with a vision to empower students and uplift communities, the college has been a cornerstone of academic growth and holistic development since its inception. The institution is located on the western side of National Highway No. 27 (East-West Highway), 2 kilometers from Bhawanipur Chowk Bazar and 4 kilometers from Sarupeta Railway Station. Bhawanipur Anchalik College was affiliated with the University of Gauhati in 1991 and was brought under the deficit grants-in-aid system of the state government in 1996. The college is being managed by a Governing Body (GB) constituted under the management rules of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Assam, India. Bhawanipur Anchalik College has been included in the 2(f) and 12(B) Registration Act of the UGC in January 2006. Offering three streams, the college is now equipped to offer multidisciplinary courses along with the traditional stream-based programs, aligning with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy, 2020.
