Terms of Service

Welcome to Vaultory: Secret Photo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vaultory: Secret Photo mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Ernest (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Vaultory allows users to securely store and manage their personal media (images and videos) either locally on their device (via Core Data) or in the cloud (via Firebase Storage). The App provides an additional layer of protection using passcode or biometric authentication. Users can sign in using Google, Apple, or email credentials.
2. User Accounts
To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
3. Subscription and In-App Purchases
Vaultory offers optional premium features through subscriptions and in-app purchases. These may include additional storage, an ad-free experience, or other features. Payment will be charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and cancel auto-renewal in your account settings.
4. Data Storage and Privacy
Local Storage: Your media is stored locally.
Cloud Storage: When cloud storage is selected, your user information and media information is uploaded to Cloud Storage.
Location Data: The App uses location services to associate images with geographic data and to log your location when passcode or biometric unlocking fails.

5. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your authentication data will be removed. Media stored in Cloud Storage and associated metadata may also be deleted, subject to our data retention policy. Locally stored data will remain on your device unless manually deleted.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to access or tamper with other users' data.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. You use the App at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
This application is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). By using the App on an Apple device, you agree to comply with that EULA in addition to these Terms.
