Vaultly: Private Vault Privacy Policy

Vaultly is designed to keep private content on the user's device. Imported photos, videos, notes, documents, PIN-protected vault data, decoy-vault data, and intruder photos are stored locally. Vaultly does not upload this private vault content to a developer-operated server.

Advertising and Consent

The free version of Vaultly uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on the user's consent, region, and device settings, these services may process device identifiers, coarse location, advertising data, product interaction, diagnostics, and other usage data to provide, measure, personalize, and protect advertising. Users can decline tracking when iOS displays the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Where required, ad privacy choices are available from the app's Settings screen.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchase history are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Vaultly receives entitlement information needed to unlock premium features, but does not receive users' payment-card details. Apple's privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Camera and Photo Library

Photo-library access is used only for items the user chooses to import. Camera access is used for document scanning and, only when the user enables Intruder Detection, to capture a front-camera image after repeated failed unlock attempts. Captured intruder images remain in the local vault and can be viewed or deleted by the user.

Data Retention and User Choices

Users can disable Intruder Detection, change available ad privacy choices, remove individual vault items, or erase the vault from within the app. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored vault data unless the user previously exported a backup.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in this page with an updated effective data.
