Welcome to Vault - Safe Storage. Your privacy is fundamental to how this app is designed. Vault is built to keep your data private, encrypted, and stored only on your device.
By using Vault, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Vault is designed with a strict privacy-first approach.
The following content may be stored locally inside the app:
Photos
Videos
Notes
Documents
Recovery information
Security settings
Guest Mode content
Intruder detection logs (optional)
All stored content is encrypted directly on your device using AES-256 encryption.
Vault does not collect, upload, store, or access:
Your photos or videos
Your notes or documents
Your PIN codes
Your biometric data
Your recovery answers
Your recovery key
Your browsing history
Your location (unless explicitly enabled)
Your personal identity information
We do not operate cloud servers for user content.
Vault uses AES-256 encryption through Apple CryptoKit to protect your data.
Encryption occurs locally on your device before content is stored inside the app.
Only you can access your vault using:
Face ID
Touch ID
Your PIN code
Recovery methods configured by you
We cannot recover your encrypted data if you lose both your PIN and recovery methods.
Vault may use Face ID or Touch ID for faster unlocking.
Biometric information is handled entirely by Apple’s iOS security system. Vault never receives or stores your biometric data.
If enabled by the user, Vault may:
Capture a photo after failed unlock attempts
Store timestamps of failed attempts
Optionally store approximate device location
This feature is completely optional and disabled by default.
All captured information remains stored locally on your device.
Location access is optional and only used for Intruder Detection logs if enabled by the user.
Vault does not continuously track location.
Location data is never uploaded or shared.
Vault includes an optional private browser feature.
The private browser:
Does not store browsing history
Automatically clears cookies and cache
Does not sync browsing activity
Websites visited inside the browser may still collect information according to their own privacy policies.
Vault offers optional in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store.
Payments and billing are handled entirely by Apple. Vault does not collect or store your payment information.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties.
Your encrypted content never leaves your device unless you manually export it.
You may delete your stored content at any time inside the app.
Secure deletion features may overwrite files before removal when supported by the operating system.
Deleting the app may permanently remove locally stored encrypted data.
Vault is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
Access
Deletion
Restriction of processing
Because Vault stores data locally and does not maintain user accounts or servers, most data control remains entirely with you on your device.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Vault - Safe Storage.
By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Vault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal and lawful purposes.
You may not:
Reverse engineer the app
Modify or redistribute the app
Use the app for illegal activity
Attempt unauthorized access to protected systems
You are solely responsible for:
Maintaining your PIN and recovery methods
Managing your encrypted data
Backing up exported content if desired
Vault cannot recover lost encrypted data if your recovery information is unavailable.
Vault uses industry-standard encryption methods, including AES-256 encryption through Apple CryptoKit.
However, no software can guarantee absolute security.
You acknowledge that:
Device compromise may affect security
Lost recovery methods may result in permanent data loss
Jailbroken or modified devices may reduce app security
Guest Mode allows users to create a separate limited-access vault.
Users are responsible for the content shown within Guest Mode.
Intruder Detection features are optional and disabled by default.
By enabling these features, you consent to local collection of:
Failed unlock attempt logs
Optional photos
Optional approximate location data
All such information remains stored locally on your device.
The built-in private browser is provided for convenience.
Vault does not guarantee anonymity while browsing the internet.
Third-party websites may still collect information independently.
Vault Pro features are available through one-time in-app purchases handled by Apple.
All billing, refunds, and payment processing are governed by Apple App Store policies.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the app at any time without prior notice.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vault and its developers shall not be liable for:
Data loss
Unauthorized access
Device damage
Lost profits
Indirect or consequential damages
Use of the app is at your own risk.
These Terms remain effective until terminated.
You may terminate them by deleting the app from your device.
We reserve the right to restrict access if these Terms are violated.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
