Overview

Vault84 is a personal finance app built on a simple principle: your financial data belongs to you. We do not collect it, store it on servers, or share it with anyone. Everything stays on your device.

What data does Vault84 collect?

None. Vault84 does not collect any personal data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry.

All data you enter — income, bills, savings, goals — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device only. It never leaves your phone.

Does Vault84 share data with third parties?

No. There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics platforms integrated into Vault84. There is nothing to share.

Does Vault84 use the internet?

No. Vault84 works entirely offline. It does not make any network requests. There is no internet permission in the app manifest.

What permissions does Vault84 request?

Vault84 requests only the permissions it genuinely needs:

• Notifications — to send bill reminders if you choose to enable them. This is optional and can be disabled in Settings.

• Biometric authentication — to lock the app with your phone's existing Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN. This is optional.

• Boot completed — so scheduled bill reminders survive a phone restart.

Vault84 explicitly blocks camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, and storage permissions. These are never requested under any circumstances.

Backup and restore

The backup feature allows you to export your database file and save it to a location of your choosing (such as Google Drive or local storage). This is entirely under your control. We do not receive, access, or store your backup files.

If you choose to store your backup on a cloud service, that service's privacy policy applies to those files.

Children's privacy

Vault84 is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since we collect no data from anyone, this requirement is satisfied by design.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Vault84 handles data in a meaningful way, we will update this document and note the change in the app's version history.
