Jocelyn Chadwick: Under Construction

JILL NOGUERAS is the Associate Director of K-12 English & Literacy at the Virginia Department of Education. She previously worked in Henrico County Public Schools as a high school English teacher and department chair and as a secondary literacy coach. Prior to that, she was a middle school English teacher in Spotsylvania County and in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Jill graduated from Gordon College of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and earned a Master’s of Science in Literacy and Culture and her Reading Specialist certification through Longwood University. She is Nationally Board Certified in Young Adult and Adolescent English. She is a member of many state and national English education organizations. Jill thrives in an environment where she has the opportunity to work with students and teachers across the Commonwealth and improve outcomes for the people she supports daily.
