Vasudha Wattal

I am a Research Associate at the Health Organisation, Policy and Economics (HOPE) research group at the School of Health Sciences, The University of Manchester.  I obtained my PhD in 2022 from the University of East Anglia.  

My research interests lie in the areas of industrial organization, economics of health and applied microeconomics. My PhD thesis addresses issues relevant to the economics of competition in the pharmaceutical sector. 

My current research at the University of Manchester includes  impact of evaluation of health policies upon various health outcomes as well as the role of private sector in the health and long -term care market.
