Vasu Arora was born in Brooklyn, New York in 2005. As a child, Vasu and his family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was raised for the rest of his childhood. Vasu demonstrated a passion for music at a very young age. He regularly listened to classical music and started piano lessons when he was 6 years old. He continued to play piano and even considered becoming a concert pianist up until 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vasu Arora discovered the wonders of contemporary minimalist music, and listened to the works of Ludovico Einaudi, Jacob Ladegaard, Yann Tiersen, Yiruma, David Lanz, and many more. Their music soothed him greatly in those troubling times and inspired him to create his own original music in a minimalist style that would enrapture listeners and inspire their imaginations. To that end, Vasu Arora has composed over a dozen contemporary minimalist pieces and achieved more than 50 subscribers on his YouTube channel. He is currently studying at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition.
