1. Introduction Welcome to VastuAI Compass ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your data. Our core philosophy is data minimization: we only process what is strictly necessary to make the app function, and we prioritize keeping your personal information on your local device.

2. Information Collection and Use To provide you with Vastu Shastra analysis and features, the app interacts with certain data as follows:

• Device Sensor Data (Compass/Direction): The app uses your device's compass and orientation sensors to determine spatial directions for Vastu analysis. This sensor data is processed entirely locally on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers, collected, or shared with any third parties.

• Locally Stored Data: When you enter personal information (such as your name or address to generate a PDF report), save room layouts, bookmark Vastu tips, or generate PDF files, this data is saved directly to your device's local storage (using SharedPreferences and local file paths). We do not have access to this data, and it is not uploaded to any external database.

• AI Chat Feature: The app features an AI assistant to answer your Vastu-related questions. The text prompts you type into the chat are sent securely to Google's Generative AI service (Gemini API) to generate a response. Please do not share sensitive or personally identifiable information in the chat.

3. Third-Party Services The app utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or process your requests:

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. Because your personal data (like saved reports and profile names) is stored locally on your device, we physically cannot share it.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Because your personal data is stored locally on your hardware, you have complete control over it. You can delete your saved reports, chat history, and profile information directly within the app's interface. Uninstalling the application or clearing the app's data in your device settings will permanently delete all locally stored information.

6. Permissions Required To function correctly, the app requests the following device permissions:

• Location / Sensors: Required to access the device's compass for real-time directional readings.

• Storage (Optional on newer Android versions): Required to save and retrieve PDF Vastu reports to your device's file system.

• Internet: Required to communicate with the AI Chat service and generate dynamic responses.

7. Children’s Privacy Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
