VaryMint Privacy Policy

VaryMint — Design Downloader is a browser extension for saving artwork images you own or have permission to download from supported TeePublic, Redbubble and Amazon Merch pages. This policy describes the extension, not the independent websites you visit.

· Information handled to provide the feature

VaryMint does not read, copy or store cookie values, passwords, authentication tokens or login credentials. The response is processed transiently in that tab to find the main product image. Other account/profile markup is not forwarded to the background saving process or retained in the cache. The extension does not solve verification challenges or bypass login restrictions.

· Local storage and files

The enabled state, theme, chosen image format, save-location preference and selected folder name are stored locally in the browser. If you select a personal folder, its browser file-system handle is stored in the extension's local IndexedDB. The browser controls access to that folder and may require renewed permission.

The folder handle is used to write requested images and check for filename collisions. VaryMint does not upload your local files. Browser-managed download IDs and their originating tab IDs may be held in session storage solely to report completion/error status for downloads initiated by VaryMint; these entries are removed after processing, and session storage does not survive a browser restart.

An Amazon results page may keep up to 50 public main-image/title snippets in memory. Cached lookups are reused for up to five minutes. Entries can remain in memory until replacement or the page is closed/reloaded; they are not uploaded or stored in a developer database. Verification pages are not cached.

Saved images remain on your device until you delete them. Uninstalling VaryMint does not delete downloaded images. You can remove extension-local settings/handles through your browser's extension-storage controls or by uninstalling the extension. Browser download records are managed separately by Chrome.

· Network requests and third parties

VaryMint makes HTTPS requests to the supported website and its image host to provide the download you select. These services receive normal network information such as your IP address and applicable browser request metadata, and have their own privacy policies. VaryMint does not relay browsing content through a developer-operated server.

The optional support button opens the public PayPal.Me page selected by the developer. PayPal processes payments on its own website under its own terms and privacy policy. VaryMint does not collect payment credentials, payment amounts, balances or transaction records, and does not contain the developer's personal receiving email address.

· No developer analytics or resale

VaryMint has no registration system, developer-operated backend, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels or data-sale mechanism. It does not read the browser's history database or track unrelated sites. User information is not sold, used for unrelated purposes or used for creditworthiness/lending decisions. Data handled by the extension is used only to provide and support its visible image-saving feature. VaryMint follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use restrictions, for information handled through Google APIs.

· Your choices

You can turn off the injected download buttons, choose browser-managed Downloads instead of a personal folder, select Save As, revoke site/folder permissions in the browser, or uninstall the extension. Payments are optional and do not unlock features. Removing site or folder permissions may prevent the corresponding feature from working.

· Changes and contact

This policy will be updated when the extension's data practices change. For privacy questions, use the developer contact address published in VaryMint's Chrome Web Store listing. That contact is provided by the publisher, separately from the extension package. The Chrome Web Store listing is the authoritative place to find the current publisher contact.
