On the lighter side, I enjoy reading novels and watching films, hiking, running, and recording videos. 

My spare-time fascination is how anesthetics work. It's amazing how we can control conscious awareness with a puff of Xenon. I am not actively working on these questions beyond reading and note-taking, but they're a future scientific interest.
