Studying the reaction mechanism, spatial and chemical heterogeneity of aqueous Zn-MnO2 batteries by multi-modal synchrotron X-ray characterization (Brookhaven National Lab).
Aqueous Zn||MnO2 batteries are a safer and greener alternative for next generation grid-scale energy storage systems.
Develop and study strategies to control reaction mechanisms to mitigate effects of capacity fade with a combination of operando and ex-situ studies of battery electrodes.

Studying the viability of Tantalum-doped Lithium Lanthanum Zirconium Oxide as a lithium ion conducting solid electrolyte for applications in lithium metal solid state batteries.
Study the propagation of lithium dendrites in LLZO to develop methods to mitigate their growth to enable low interfacial impedance and a current density of 1mA/cm2

Vimano, a start up with the aim of making ion exchange membranes for applications in fuel and flow cells for standalone power generation. Vimano has been awarded state government funding as part of “Elevate 2019” for being an innovative cleantech startup at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
Developing a setup to accurately map the ionic conductivity through plane ionic conductivity of an ion conducting polymer or ceramic by four probe electrochemical impedance spectroscopic technique.
Developing a vanadium redox flow battery to assess the performance on variations of different ion exchange membranes.

Vedanta Aluminum Limited (Assistant Manager)
Vedanta Aluminum at Jharsuguda is an aluminum smelter with a capacity of 1.75MTPA aluminum.
Worked in Pot-room operations, of an Aluminum Smelter monitoring parameters of 168 electrolytic furnaces, managing resources, manpower and other operational activities during a shift.
Ensuring energy efficiency, safety and maintaining 5S at workplace.
RVCE Solar Car Team

The RVCE Solar Car Team is a student run organization that designs and builds Solar Electric Vehicles. It’s committed to tackling the rising global energy crisis, envisioning a world with sustainable transportation.
In October 2015 and 2017 we were the only team from India to take part in the World Solar Challenge held in Australia. In 2017, I led a team of 30 students to the event in Australia.

Undergraduate Research
The objective of this project was to design and fabricate an RF heating system for fast curing epoxy resin with an aliphatic amine hardener.
Thermal and mechanical analysis was carried out by using a differential scanning calorimeter to evaluate the glass transition temperature and a universal testing machine for evaluating the flexural strength of the samples made.
We received funding from KSCST (Karnataka State Council of Science and Technology) for the execution of this project.
