Venue
The venue of the workshop will be complesso dei Santi Marcellino e Festo (San Marcellino, for short), Largo San Marcellino, 10 (Naples). The seminars will be held in Aula G3, ground floor, just on the right of the main entrance.
San Marcellino is in the city centre of Naples (UNESCO World Heritage Site), close to the headquarters of the University of Naples "Federico II", in via Umberto. Largo San Marcellino is parallel to via San Biagio dei Librai (also know as Spaccanapoli), one of the main street of the ancient (Greek and then Roman) city of Naples. The agorà of the Greek city, corresponding to Piazza San Gaetano, is also very close to San Marcellino, as well as is the Duomo of Naples (i.e., Naples Cathedral).
There are various option to get to San Marcellino via public transportation, depending on where your accommodation is located. For example:
From the city centre (for instance, via Toledo, Quartieri Spagnoli): just walk, this is the most convenient option.
From places close to Linea 1 of the Metro (subway) (for instance, Vomero): get off the subway at Università or at Duomo, depending on which you meet first from your place, then walk for around 5 minutes.
From places close to Linea 2 of the Metro (for instance, Fuorigrotta, Mergellina) or to Cumana: get off the subway either at Montesanto or at Piazza Cavour, then walk (around 20 minutes from Montesanto and 15 minutes from Piazza Cavour; Montesanto is the last stop of Cumana).
The right path is easily found, for instance, by looking for Scuola Superiore Meridionale on Google Maps.
