Welcome to Variacam. By using the app, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

1. Use of the App

Variacam provides AI-based photo editing and image generation tools. You may use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal content or content that violates the rights of others.
  
  

• Attempt to misuse the AI models to generate harmful, explicit, violent, or illegal material.
  
  

• Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract the underlying AI models or systems.
  
  

2. User Content

You retain all rights to the photos you upload into the app.
By using Variacam, you grant us and our service providers a temporary license only to process your images for the requested AI features.

We do not store your photos on our servers.
Processing is performed securely through:

• Google Gemini
  
  

• OpenAI (gpt-image-1)
  
  

Both providers process your data only to generate the output you request and do not use your content to train their models.

3. AI Model Providers

By using Variacam, you also agree to the terms of these providers when applicable:

Variacam is not responsible for changes in third-party provider policies.

4. Purchases & Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are managed by RevenueCat and processed through the App Store.

• All purchases are final.
  
  

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal period.
  
  

• You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store settings.
  
  

5. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app performance.
No personal data is collected—only anonymous usage metrics.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, UI designs, icons, and branding within Variacam belong to their respective owners.
You may not copy, distribute, or reuse Variacam’s assets without permission.

7. Disclaimer

Variacam is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee perfect AI results, uptime, or error-free performance.

You use the app at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Variacam and its developer are not liable for:

• Loss of data
  
  

• Indirect or consequential damages
  
  

• Misuse of the app by the user
  
  

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new terms.

Privacy Policy

Everything is stored on your device.

AI image processing sends your photo securely to Google (Gemini) or OpenAI (gpt-image-1) only for processing. Neither provider uses your images to train their models.

• Google Gemini:
Photos are sent only for processing and may be temporarily retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes, according to Google’s terms: https://ai.google.dev/terms

• OpenAI (gpt-image-1):
Photos are used only to generate the requested edit. OpenAI does not use your data to train models and deletes uploaded content after processing, as described in their policy: https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage

We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage and fix issues.
No personal data is collected — only anonymous usage metrics.

Purchases are managed through RevenueCat (purchase history and receipts are used only to validate subscriptions).

We do not store photos on our servers, and we do not sell or share any data with third parties.

This app is intended for users 18 years and older due to Gemini API requirements.
