Welcome to my personal website.
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at Beloit College, where I teach courses in consumer behavior, environmental economics, microeconomics, and econometrics. I previously taught macroeconomics at New York University before joining Beloit College. I enjoy engaging with students and exploring how economic theories apply to real-world policy challenges.
I earned my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My research focuses on international trade and development economics, particularly how trade liberalization impacts labor markets, educational attainment, and economic structures in developing countries.
Before entering academia, I worked at an economic consulting firm in Bangkok, Thailand, advising government agencies on trade liberalization, investment promotion, and industrial policy. I have also served as a part-time consultant for the United Nations ESCAP, designing their Trade and Sustainable Development Goals e-learning course.
