Cleveland Heights Barbershoppers

Our Men’s and Women’s Barbershoppers are audition-only small ensembles. The groups often perform in local events and both the Men's and Women's Barbershoppers have participated in the International Barbershop Convention organized by the Barbershop Harmony Society, a national organization.  The groups perform traditional Barbershop songs as well as contemporary music.  

Each year, VAPO assists with organizing travel arrangements and chaperoning the annual trip to the Barbershop Harmony Society Midwinter Convention.  Planning for this trip begins before the school year starts and takes significant coordination and fundraising efforts.  Previous trips have been to Nashville, Daytona Beach, and Jacksonville (FL), among others. In January 2024, the Barbershoppers travelled to New York City.
