Peer Mentors

Peer Mentors are expected to assist with students who have a Autism Spectrum Disorder. Students seeking the position of mentor will be responsible for:

• Attending Weekly Team Meetings at the discretion of the Peer Leader
• Provide input concerning ASD student integration, involvement, and participation during school and out of school activities.
• Be a proactive learner towards awareness of Autism and supports to implement during school and outside of school to increase communication between student with autism and others.
• Be an active mentor to spread Autism Awareness to others.
