On an evening walk, three of us were talking about Telugu language and how we had witnessed changes in the language in our lifetime. Varun recalled his brother-in-law's statement that the Telugu language would be dying soon. We argued among ourselves for a while over the topic. The argument ended with a big question mark about whether the death of a language is a natural process.

We decided to dwell on this topic a bit more. We interviewed several experts and speakers of the language. This has helped us examine aspects such as the evolution of a language, its transformation over time, and the impact of culture on language.
