Hello beauties! So to tell you a little bit about myself, I am a licensed cosmetologist and the proud owner of Vanita’ Beauty LLC. Being a business owner has always been my aspiration. Not wanting to have a full service salon, I finally found my niche in creative hair design and makeup. I am so thrilled to have finally open a studio close to home in Powhatan County Va. I have been working creatively in the beauty industry for more than 14 years and been strictly in the bridal and wedding industry for five years. As beauty trends are constantly changing, I pride myself on continuing to develop my knowledge and skills by taking classes offered by accredited beauty organizations as well as attending all the hair and trade shows that I can. What can I say, I just LOVE what I do!

I take pleasure in serving my clients/brides by listening and catering to their needs and wants. My goal is to make sure each of my clients walks away with their desired look, feeling confident and gorgeous; this is the greatest reward of all!

Clystia with Vanita Beauty did an INCREDIBLE job on my wedding day! My hair was absolutely gorgeous and she worked off of a few pictures I brought and without a prior trial.

In general, Clystia and her team are so sweet, friendly, and flexible -- exactly what you want on the morning of a wedding. Two bridesmaids decided day-of that they wanted their hair done, and the Vanita beauty team was super accommodating. The team of 2 women completed 7 bridal party girls' hair in 3 hours, including the bride. Not to mention they offer great prices and travel to you!

As a photographer, I look for an artist that is willing to work with my clients. To make their natural beauty flourish, not over power it. Clystia Taylor with Vanita' Beauty did exactly that. I was amazed how easy she was to work with, both as a vendor, but with my client.
