Colossus is a fast-paced first person shooter. It merges many different game modes, allowing more strategical plays in any game mode of your choice. 

There are three core game modes: Casual, Ranked, and Team Leagues. There are two sub-game modes in the three core game modes. The game modes are Battlegrounds and Elimination. 

The other game modes include: Rivalry, Team Deathmatch, Team Capture the Hill, and any limited-time game modes.

Elimination:

Elimination is similar to Battlegrounds. You spawn on a smaller map (compared to Battlegrounds) in a Point of Interest outside a 250 meter radius of an enemy. However, you cannot respawn your teammates. When you die, you are out for the rest of the game. Another difference is that loot will always spawn in the same area, every, single time. This brings more competetive and strategic gameplay.

There are 2 game modes in Nexus : Project Infinite which are competitive. Ranked allows people to climb ranks and play against people of similar skill. Leagues involve teams. The teams are called guilds and you can either create or join one. The team, when they reach the top rank, they will gain access to join a tournament. The winner of the tournament is determined by how many points you earn from the League mode if you are playing with teammates of the same guild.
