K2C/Pathways 8th Grade Trip

Each year the CCAC takes the 8th graders on a trip called the Kids2College/Pathways2Professional Skilled Trades. This trip shows 8th graders what a college experience would be like, and also lets them see different types of manufacturing and skilled trades options.

Vandercook 8th graders have been able to experience Jiffy and American Tooling over the last few years. We strive to make sure students are learning in each tour. Students are averaging above 70% stating we have increased their understanding of the skilled trades!

Vandercook 8th Graders have been able to visit Adrian and Eastern Michigan University over the years. Students have valued the college tour greatly, and have been able to increase their understanding of college!
