I am a tenured Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University. My research is in empirical applied microeconomics. I develop and estimate structural dynamic models of firm and household investment decisions, and use these to evaluate the effects of public policies — on R&D and innovation, energy efficiency, and technology adoption.

Current projects examine AI adoption and firm productivity (Starter Grant, Dutch Ministry of Education, 2023–2029) and household investment in residential energy efficiency. Earlier work on R&D investment dynamics was supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (2020–2022).
