Have a math binder/notebook. If you can print all the notes, it would help you very much! The notes may also include practice. Do the extra practice in the notes when possible.
Attend all classes and be engaged.
Show your work. Even if you can do it in your head, SHOW YOUR WORK. Everything in math builds to a harder skill. Eventually, you will get to a point where you can no longer do it in your head. For example, students can often do one-step equations in their heads but need to know the steps for two-step and multi-step equations.
Please do everything that you are requested to do.
If you need extra help, attend office hours or email your teacher. We want to help you!
